Lights, Camera, Action At Paradise Valley Mall

PHOENIX, Ariz. (April 20, 2010) – Picture Show Entertainment and Westcor  announced today a new seven-screen state-of-the-art theatre, Picture Show at Paradise Valley Mall is scheduled to open on May 28th, just in time for the summer blockbuster season.  This highly anticipated stadium theatre features all digital projection with 3D capability in order to show enhanced 3D films like Toy Story 3.  Movie-goers will rejoice at their choice of over 1,200 seats while they enjoy hot popcorn and the newest Hollywood releases. 


                “We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to open a state-of-the-art theater for families in the Paradise Valley Mall area” said Jeff Stedman, CEO, Picture Show Entertainment.   “We look forward to becoming an intricate part of the North Phoenix community”.


                The opening of Picture Show is the second major venue opening in the last year for Paradise Valley Mall after the Costco Wholesale opening in September 2009.

            Picture Show Entertainment, LLC began in 2003 by Jeff Stedman an established industry executive with over 15 years experience in the movie theatre business.  Mr. Stedman began his career at Cinemark, Inc. were he held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for substantially all of the 1990's.  His new venture, Picture Show, will operate seven theatres in six states with the opening of its newest state-of-the-art theatre in the Paradise Valley Mall.
