As communities across the country begin to plan – and in some cases, take steps toward – re-opening for business, Macerich is looking ahead.
We’re excited to share our initial operational plans to support the return to business: the time when stores, restaurants, and experiences at our properties will be able to say, “Welcome Back!” Macerich properties are where people want to go for connection as well as commerce, and we are eagerly anticipating how and when we can return to this important place in people’s lives.
We hope you will take a look at our plans for putting everyone at ease as our properties re-open.
As we start to re-open our centers, it is important to effectively communicated with our shoppers to ensure their health and well-being. View our signage package that will help welcome our customers back to our centers and serve as another touch point to educate on proper social distancing protocol.
Macerich has developed a plan to support any of our retail partners wishing to offer Curbside Pickup at properties, where regulations allow. We continue to monitor local, national and global health organization recommendations and will adjust this service as necessary to ensure the well-being of our shoppers, merchants and employees.

There is no higher priority than the health and wellness of our guests, employees, retailers, and communities. That’s why we are monitoring the current situation of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and taking preventive actions. We want you to feel confident when visiting our properties. We recognize that places where people gather, like shopping centers, need to be clean, welcoming and safe.
As businesses of all kinds navigate the challenges presented by COVID-19, we have assembled informative resources that are available to help you during this difficult situation.
