As communities across the country begin to plan – and in some cases, take steps toward – re-opening for business, Macerich is looking ahead.
We’re excited to share our initial operational plans to support the return to business: the time when stores, restaurants, and experiences at our properties will be able to say, “Welcome Back!” Macerich properties are where people want to go for connection as well as commerce, and we are eagerly anticipating how and when we can return to this important place in people’s lives.
We hope you will take a look at our plans for putting everyone at ease as our properties re-open.
As we start to re-open our centers, it is important to effectively communicate to ensure the health and well-being of our shoppers, retailers and our local community members. View our sample signage package created to help welcome our customers back to our centers and serve as another touch point to highlight proper social distancing protocol.
Samples included are not representative of each shopping center's specific state ordinances. This document is a sampling and not inclusive of all property signage.
Macerich has developed a plan to support any of our retail partners wishing to offer Curbside Pickup at properties, where regulations allow. We continue to monitor local, national and global health organization recommendations and will adjust this service as necessary to ensure the well-being of our shoppers, merchants and employees.

We recognize that places where people gather, like shopping centers, need to be clean, welcoming and safe.
