This Fall, Freehold Raceway Mall shoppers will have four stylish new reasons to visit Freehold Raceway Mall when XXI Forever, H&M, Bare Escentuals and Arhaus Furniture open fresh concepts and new stores at Monmouth County’s premier shopping destination. “We are pleased to be adding four additional distinctive brands to Freehold Raceway Mall, particularly given today’s retailers’ selective approach to opening new stores,” said Frank Lucia, senior property manager for Freehold Raceway Mall. “Freehold Raceway Mall continues to be an important location for retailers and these newest retail offerings ensure that we continue to deliver brands and experiences that our shoppers request.”
Expanding its presence at Freehold Raceway Mall, Forever 21 will close its current 6,200-square-foot location this fall and re-open as the larger-format XXI Forever in a new two-level, 33,000-square-foot store in the Nordstrom wing. “We are very pleased to provide the people of Freehold with a larger selection of great fashion at a great value” stated Forever 21 Executive Vice President, Larry Meyer. “With the relocation of our store within Freehold Raceway Mall we are able to accommodate more brands and new concepts.”
H&M, a global retailer with over 2,000 stores in 37 countries, and one of the highest-requested retailers by the Freehold Raceway Mall guests, will open a 20,000-square-foot store on the upper level of the fashion wing. H&M at Freehold Raceway Mall will offer the latest fashions and modern basics for ladies, men, young ladies and young men, including separate departments for accessories and underwear. This location will also feature H&M’s quality children’s collection with great garments for babies and kids from newborn to 14 years of age.
Joining the popular fashion brands, Bare Escentuals will open an 884-square-foot store on the lower level of the Nordstrom wing, bringing the popular skin care and cosmetics retailer’s new store concept to Monmouth County shoppers.
In addition to the fresh changes inside the center, Arhaus Furniture – a high-quality furniture and home design store which offers furniture and décor that uses natural materials and is globally inspired – will open its first New Jersey location at Freehold Raceway Mall. The store will be located in a 12,700-square-foot space in the center’s outdoor lifestyle center between Coldwater Creek and JCPenney.
To bring the new retailers – XXI Forever, H&M and Bare Escentuals – and create a new fashion hub in the Nordstrom wing, several retailers will relocate to new stores inside the center. Retailers opening fresh new stores include Sur La Table, Build A Bear Workshop, Easy Spirit, Footlocker, Surray Luggage, Cohen’s Opticals, Kay Jewelers and Wetzel’s Pretzels.
“Creating a new fashion-focused wing such as what we have done with Freehold Raceway Mall’s Nordstrom wing requires careful planning,” commented F.K. Grunert, vice president of leasing for Freehold Raceway Mall and its parent company, Macerich. “Each retailer has unique needs, so it takes careful coordination to ensure that we are meeting the needs and timing of our retailers, both existing and new. Ultimately, we are striving to deliver the perfect experience and environment for our retailers and our shoppers,” Grunert said.
