RICHMOND, Va. – May 23, 2011 – Chesterfield Towne Center announced today that first-to- Chesterfield retailers Francesca’s Collection and HomeGoods, along with TJMaxx, will open to shoppers before the busy Memorial Day shopping weekend.
HomeGoods and TJMaxx will open at 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 26, in their combined location near Mall Drive. Francesca’s Collection, a national women’s retailer, will open its new store in the Macy’s wing, on Friday, May 27, at 10 a.m.
The HomeGoods and TJMaxx stores will occupy over 50,000 square feet with separate exterior and interior entrances. Once inside, customers will be able to cross-shop both stores through an access point between the two retailers. HomeGoods offers trendy and unique home décor items and affordable home furnishings. TJMaxx will offer designer and brand name fashions for the entire family at affordable price points. The addition of these two stores will create a unique anchor for the southeast side of Chesterfield Towne Center.
Francesca’s Collection is a women’s boutique that offers fashion-forward apparel, accessories and unique gift items. Each Francesca’s location offers a distinctive merchandise mix that specifically appeals to the store’s shoppers. Additionally, the store's selection changes frequently to keep offerings fresh and exciting for customers.
“The opening of these three nationally recognized retailers at Chesterfield Towne Center builds on the success we’ve had during the past year with the addition of retailers such as The Children’s Place, Shoe Dept. Encore, Garden Ridge and Crazy 8,” said Ashley York, property manager for Chesterfield Towne Center. “It’s also a reflection of how the retail experience has evolved, bringing non-traditional mall retailers alongside more typical anchor and inline specialty stores. These new brands broaden the center’s range of retailers and experiences, complementing Chesterfield Towne Center’s existing offerings.”
