The Centre at Salisbury is the only regional mall on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. From its location at Route 13 and the Route 50 / Route 13 bypass in Wicomico County - the retail hub of the Delmarva Peninsula - the mall dominates an unusually large market which encompasses nine counties in Maryland, Virginia and Delaware. The influx of tourists to the nearby beach resorts of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia increases the population of the center's market area. Ocean City alone draws over 400,000 tourists per week from June through August.
